Organic Acid Test (OAT), Teletest

Aciduria tests The Organic Acid Metabolism Test is a study of acidurias to identify inborn errors of metabolism and/or predominant metabolic pathways in our body. It includes the determination of more than 70 analytes related to the microbiota, the Krebs cycle, detoxification and neurobiology, among others. From a urine sample more than 100 metabolites are analyzed related to the microbiota, nutrition, the Krebs cycle, neurobiology... The RESULTS obtained from the test will allow us to make nutritional changes, life habits and adapt the pharmacological treatment in a personalized way according to the distribution of the metabolites. This test is especially indicated for:
  • Study nutritional deficiencies.
  • Evaluate patients with Chronic Fatigue.
  • Identify the origin of psychological imbalances and neurotoxicity.

PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Diuretics and antibiotics can interfere. Note in the questionnaire if you take any medication.
  • Two days before, avoid consuming apples, grapes and their derivatives (raisins, wine, vinegar), pears, citrus fruits, blueberries, kiwi, pineapple, strawberries and their juices.
    Four days before, suspend nutritional supplements: vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbal supplements, energy drinks, sports supplements.
