Biomesight analyzes your gut microbiome and provides gut health scores, with personalized food and prebiotic recommendations.
The Biomesight Microbiome Analysis test provides a snapshot of gut microorganisms using the 16S rRNA microbiota sequencing technology. You will receive a count and a percentage of the relative abundance of the bacteria in your microbiome, from Phylum down to the species level. 16s DNA sequencing allows us to sequence a specific region (v4) of the 16s gene and match these sequences to a selected bacterial database. With this method, they provide a relative quantification of all the bacterial organisms in your sample, rather than targeting just a small subset of bacteria.
Your specialist will be able to register on the Biomesight platform and access (with your permission) the report.
Biomesight provides an interpretation using Dr. Jason Hawrelak's (Probiotics Advisor) recommended ranges for a subset of key bacteria (probiotics, commensals and pathobionts) along with a scoring system, diversity calculation and personalized recommendations for foods, prebiotic supplements and lifestyle adjustments to improve gut health.
Biomesight also provides FASTQ data full raw and downloads csv files for those interested in analyzing their results elsewhere or working with a professional.
