During a 1-hour videoconference you will be able to talk with the doctor, receive guidance and resolve any uncertainty you may have about medical topics related to neurology, interpretation of results, clinical analyzes to consider, among other aspects.

This option gives you comfort, speed and security when addressing your concerns without having to go to a health center. This service is ideal for situations that do not require urgent or in-person attention.

When you apply, you will receive:

1. An email where you can select your appointment time, then you will receive another email,
2. With the link necessary to access the consultation. 

We strongly recommend that you write down any questions or concerns you may have before your consultation. Additionally, you have the option of sending an email with your questions and additional information so that the doctor can prepare more appropriately for your case.

What type of guidance can be provided in the online consultation and what are its limitations?

The online consultation allows you to receive guidance in various aspects, such as:

1. Answer medical questions: The doctor will be willing to clarify your questions and provide information about your health and medical conditions.
2. Give advice on how to act in medical situations: You will receive recommendations on how to approach and care for your health in various circumstances.
3. Interpret the results of analyzes performed at Enevia or in other laboratories: The doctor will help you understand and analyze the results of your clinical examinations, providing an expert medical vision.
4. Request a medical prescription to perform tests offered by Enevia Health: If considered necessary, the doctor may prescribe specific tests available in our services to evaluate your health status.

However, it is important to highlight that the online consultation has certain limitations, such as the impossibility of performing a complete physical examination, issuing medical prescriptions for the acquisition of medications outside the geographic area for which the doctor is authorized or providing medical certificates. In addition, emergency cases or those that require surgical intervention cannot be attended to.

What if you need more time for your consultation?

If you require an extension of time for your consultation, you can request a 10-minute extension from the doctor at the end of the initial time. The doctor will evaluate the possibility of granting this extension, considering your availability and the need for your case.

What happens if you face any technical issues during the video conference or are unable to attend the appointment?

If you encounter a technical problem during the video conference, we suggest you try to resolve it by following the help instructions provided by your computer or the video conferencing program you are using. If the problem persists or if you are unable to attend the appointment for any reason, please do not hesitate to let us know by replying to the email we have sent you to request rescheduling of your appointment. Please note that you can only reschedule your appointment once and with at least 24 hours' notice.

Can you request an appointment on behalf of another person?

Yes, you have the opportunity to request an appointment on behalf of a family member or friend who needs medical advice. You will only need to provide us with the name and contact information of the person who will receive the query when making your request. Also, make sure that person has access to a device with an internet connection and a webcam to conduct the video conference.

What documents or medical reports will you need to send or have on hand for the online consultation?

We recommend that you have at your disposal any document or information that may be useful so that the doctor is aware of your medical history and can offer you the best guidance. This could include blood test results, x-rays, ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, previous medical reports, list of medications you are taking, known allergies, among others. You can provide these documents by replying to the email you will receive when making your request or by showing them during the online consultation.
