The re-evaluation of genetic variants consists of updating (under ACMG criteria) the classification of the genetic variants found in a genetic study carried out previously.
It is important to re-evaluate genetic variants because they may change their classification over time as new or more clinical information becomes available from the patient or in genetic databases.
Extra information: It is not necessary to have carried out previous tests with the laboratory, tests carried out in other laboratories can be taken to the consultation.
